Inky Hands is a contemporary silk screen studio, gallery and publisher in Dallas, TX.
It is the only print studio in Dallas that is dedicated fully to silk screen printing as a fine art process.
Inky Hands provides a collaborative approach to producing limited edition screen prints with other artists. As well, Inky
Hands offers introductory workshops and intermediate courses. The studio is also available for rental if the artist can demonstrate that they are knowledgeable with the process.
Inky Hands Print Studio specializes as a fine art silkscreen print studio for creating limited edition prints. It is not available to use for t-shirt printing
Inky Hands Gallery is a 700 sq foot space located in the entrance room apart from the studio. Inky Hands Gallery will be showcasing and exhibiting national and international artists who specialize in fine art silk screen printing.
Inky Hands was founded in 2015 by practicing artist printmaker Katharine LiBretto. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2007, concentrating in Graphic Design, at C.W. Post College/Long Island University, in New York. From 2009-2011, she studied at The School of Visual Arts’ Continuing Education program in New York City until she moved to London to develop her printmaking practice full time. In 2012 she received a Masters degree with Merit at Camberwell College of Art/University of the Arts London in Printmaking. In 2013 she was granted an Artist Residency at the Women’s Studio Workshop in New York, USA in 2013. In 2014 she had her first solo exhibition in Hong Kong.
